LETS TALK PCOS !!!

Good morning friends. Since the last time i wrote i went to go see my fertility specialist. I had to get blood work done and also pap-smear. Let me tell ya, i don't know what it is about pap-smear but for some reason it's uncomfortable. After i got it done my fertility doctor told me she might know what it is but she will have to just go over the test and would call me the following day. Don't you just hate when you have to wait an agonizing day or more for test results? lol. But anywho the next day i got a call to come in the office to discuss the test results. She told me that the blood test showed that i was dehydrated but everything else was ok. The other thing was that she diagnosed me with PCOS ( Polycystic ovary syndrome). I was confused at first as to what pcos was. I heard it before, but i never knew what it really meant. When she explain it to me, i am not gonna lie i was a little scared. So many things ran through my head like, will i ever be pregnant, is it curable ect. She told me she will be giving me medications to take. I said ok but i was a little out of it while sitting in her office. I came home got on the computer and started researching pcos. To my surprise i found a lot of people who were diagnosed with pcos and delivered a healthy baby. Also a lot of people who conceive with pcos said that a healthy diet and exercise is a must. I am not a clean eater although i watch what i eat and exercise for 30 minutes a day. So i will update you guys as soon as i find out the names of the medication i will be taking . I will also be starting to eat clean and healthy. I will try to post some pictures of the foods am eating as well so we can do it together. Hope is still alive for ttc. lol

VITAMINS & SUPPLEMENTS

Hi my fellow ttc friends. I wanted to write a little about vitamins and supplements i tried and am taking for ttc now. My sweet husband got bless him, always says "It will happen, don't worry". Me on the other hand am always on Google, researching, looking for vitamins i can take, exercise i can do, tea i can drink, ect. I came across maca powder and vitex, a lot of people were saying that it worked for them and that they conceived taking it for six months and that it worked for them. If you don't know what maca powder and vitex are just put it on Google (sorry this is gonna be a really long post if i explain what they are, lol). Anyways, so i started taking them and took it for six months both together but nothing, no baby or regular period. The only thing that i notice with the maca powder is energy, but as far as the vitax i didn't do anything for me. I was really disappointed and frustrated with it. So then i just started taking parental vitamin, which is good and am still taking it til this day. Along with the the parental vitamin i started taking for almost a month now are the following:

 Female Supplements:

Myo Inositol- 2 gm twice a day
Co-Q10- 200 mg three times per day
 L-Arginine- 1000 mg twice a day
Vitamin C- 500 mg in the morning
Vitamin E- 200 IU every day
Omega-3 Fatty acid 1000 mg everyday
Pycnogenol- 100 mg every day
If planning an IVF cycle, also take Melatonin- 3 mg at bedtime

Male Supplements:

Co-Q10- 200 mg three times per day
 L-Arginine- 1000 mg twice a day
Vitamin C- 1000 mg in the morning
Vitamin E- 400 IU every day
Omega-3 Fatty acid 1000 mg everyday
Pycnogenol- 100 mg every day
Folic Acid- 300 mcg once a day
1 centrum with Minerals once a day

You don't have to take all this vitamins and you can adjust it to your life. My fertility doctor told us to take this vitamins so here is to sharing. I hope this helps some of you friends.
p.s. you can just buy the vitamins on lower dosage and your partner can just double the dosage.
As always if you have any question or suggestion please feel free to comment down below.

 MY TTC JOURNEY!

Hi all. I just wanted to start a blog about my struggle with trying to conceive (ttc). A little background about me. My name is Laila and i am 26 years old. I have married to my wonderful husband for 5 years and we have been trying for the 5 years we have been married and still are. I have always had irregular period ever since i had my period when i was 13 til this day. I went to go see every doctor i possible could and never got any answer as to what was wrong with me and why i wasn't getting pregnant. I went to and OBG and been with her for 2 years and after every test all i got from her was i had a low vitamin D deficiency.  I was really getting frustrated that i wasn't getting pregnant and decided that i wanted to go see an Amish ideologist that i have heard so much about. He diagnosed me with endometriosis. I was somewhat relived to hear that because i felt at least i knew what was wrong with me. He prescribed me a lot of herbal medicine and told me to take it for 2 months and to come back to see him. I took it for the 2 months and i couldn't find him when i finally decided to go back ( i heard he moved). I am still trying and going to a wonderful fertility doctor now. This is just a little peak into my ttc journey. I will write about what my infertility doctor diagnosed me with and the vitamins supplements, and medication i am taking. Also the food and diet plan am following. Lets stick together and support each other through this journey. Hopefully you could learn a thing or two about my journey and i will hopefully learn about you guys and your journey. The journey to a healthy beautiful baby starts now.

If you have any question or suggestions please feel free to post it in the comment section down below.

As always good luck and baby dust to all you friends!!!
